She was working as a make up artist and a wardrobe assistant for 6 years until last July and shared some insight view of the industry we were talking until 4 in the morning. At first I was reluctant to make this thread because I know some of you may react badly. But I really, really, really want to share the stories here. Most of the stories are old stories that already here mostly in My Korean Celeb Secrets thread. That immortal thread because I want to hear her view about it. So here they are: I envy her I just think an inside perspective will be interesting to shared.
As evidence mounted, pictures surfaced, and news sources reported the story, I still expected this to be a vast misunderstanding that everyone would forget when the next scandal hit in 18 hours. Taemin—who is 19 and famous for his gift of losing everything he touches—seemed like a truly odd choice for WGM. In other instances, Taemin appears so shy and eager to please that he smiles sweetly and shows very little personality.
I knew zero about Naeun before the announcement. As I shared in a previous post , I love We Got Married, but find the show to be almost entirely scripted—and badly scripted, at that. So the question going in to the first episode of Taemin and Naeun on We Got Married would be whether their pairing could possibly be interesting.
OP’s question is “Is there a couple in We Got Married that actually dated in real life?”. The question wasn’t “Is there any WGM couple that got introduced on the show and then ended up dating in real life?”.
Why is that a look? Ra Mi-ran is a boss in her white suit, and Go Kyung-pyo looks amazing, even if he looks exactly like his chaebol character in Jealousy Incarnate. I wish the cast of Answer Me had been better represented. And I really wish Lee Shi-un had worn socks. He even showed a little aegyo on camera! Oh, and I want that olive trench coat for me. The cast of Oh Hae-young Again: Eric and Seo Hyun-jin are the best-dressed couple of the night. He looks boyish and cute. The girls won the Best Chemistry award without Jo Jung-seok, lol!
The cast of SNL Korea: Three Meals a Day was the big variety show winner of the evening, and Fishing Village was the season that picked up the Daesang. I could watch Chajumma strut on the red carpet for days.

Hot on the heels of the last love triangle in Taiwan entertainment between Roy Qiu, his now-ex Tang Yan, and his maybe fling Tia Li comes another trio that has been causing all sorts of heated speculation in the press. The two dramas aired on different networks and time slots so it was a double win for George to get double the exposure. Looks like it was also double the offscreen romance because this week new broke that George may have been dating Gui Gui since they filmed their drama the prior year and then cheated on her with Annie when they filmed LN.
She gave the magazine pictures of a topless George posing with a make-up less Gui Gui in a selca and other at-home shots, which pretty much does confirm those two dated. That was the rumor all last year after George and Gui Gui did Summer Fever the prior year, but then his great chemistry with Annie in Love, Now caused the media to start speculating on that possible pairing. All I can say is…..

They take bus number to their destination and occupying the last row of seats on the bus. Kudos to the camera team for installing all those cameras in a short amount of time. They have a little chat on the bus talking about the activities they would participate in after school. As kids, both Taemin and Naeun go to the playground after school. Taemin declares himself to be the master of the playground.
The conversation diverted to an odd topic where Taemin explains how there was an year old gingko tree just right outside his window of the house he used to live in. They both found a new common love: To them, it is delicious though Taemin has heard from some people that it tastes like boogers. Boogers can never taste that good… Yuck.

Jae-in responds that he and Da-hyun would wait until she relented, getting older and older in the process, and adds that he felt like dying without having Da-hyun by his side — anything would be better than that. His mother sighs, conflicted. Da-hyun frets over her appearance, but Jae-in lovingly reassures her that she looks pretty. His mother enters the room then, jokingly chiding Jae-in for being so lovey-dovey as she welcomes Da-hyun in.
Grandpa calls Da-hyun his savior and hands her a small envelope; she opens it, revealing the hospital bill receipt that she had paid for Grandpa. It takes a few moments before Da-hyun finally realizes that Grandpa is the man she saved all those months ago, and she gasps in delight at the discovery.

Jan 16 4: You do realize it’s just a show right? They aren’t really married. I’m a huge SuJu fan as much as I can be, but I also respect their privacy. In time they will all eventually date and get married like Shindong. We as their fans should honor their choice.
Couples dating after wgm. A relationship was written to do home improvement projects together. At the date a title is still ongoing; 2 august Couple. After wgm. An end. Many of the lines jong-hyun has proposed to do home improvement projects together. Men looking for a tiny part weird after one another.
That narrative backbone is what made this show work for me, because otherwise idols singing and dancing is just… idols singing and dancing, and I can watch Inkigayo for that… They still have Inkigayo, right? But I did love the sing-offs and dance-offs, the guerilla concerts and battles, and series of musical midterms they had to take, because they were written as climactic narrative moments, and had the added benefit of being really fun to watch, so that we were as invested as the characters when someone hit that perfect note or finally got that dance down.
And the show did a fun series of updates on old songs, taking a cue from shows like Glee, which worked to secure musical references for a broad audience.

Crystal Jun 07 am Is it supposed to be sequenced?? Why is that Dream High 2 is so far from the first one? You’re making the fans of Dream High confused. It’s like the writers erased the characters from the first one and made it unknown.
WANT wait staff, waitstaff Yeah, it’s an ugly locution. It occurs primarily in help-wanted ads and signs. Some restaurants probably use it to cover their legal ass, but certainly not all. FWIW, the proprietor at the time was a former waiter. At Nick’s, Richard now works some hours as a host and some as a waiter. The term is not used in the strictest sense. I guess the take-away here is that restaurant people have too many real problems to deal with, to spend too much time worrying about the finest niceties of political correctness.
Many probably use it because elegant language is not a specialty of the house. Just be glad that such gendered occupational terms are the exception rather than the rule in English.
